Rotary Goals
Charleston-Vandalia Rotary Club
Goals for 2008-2009
- Qualify for Presidential Citation and submit Certification form on or before the established due date.
- Continue the Sustaining Membership for the Paul Harris Fellow.
- Secure 2 new Paul Harris Fellows by June 30, 2009.
- Net increase in membership of 5 new members by June 30, 2009.
- Hold a minimum of 3 Club Assemblies.
- Conduct at least 4 orientations sessions for new members.
- Conduct Rotary minute at each meeting.
- Establish a Rotary Foundation committee.
- Provide a minimum of 48 educational, entertaining or humorous programs for the members.
- Hold one major fundraising event: Reverse Raffle & Revue on January 30, 2009 and raise a minimum of $15,000 for Vandalia Club projects.
- Schedule at least 3 social activities for club members and their families, including the celebration of the 7th anniversary of the Vandalia charter.
- Support at least 7 local or international projects.
- Partner with the Charleston Club to distribute dictionaries to all 3rd grade classes in Kanawha County.
- Participate in the Rotary GSE program.
- At least 3 members will attend the Rotary Leadership Institute (Phase I, II or III).
- Hold monthly Board of Directors meetings and share actions with club members.
- Celebrate 20th anniversary of “Women in Rotary”.
