Another Successful Raffle Incoming President Gaylene Miller and the next Fundraising Chair will have a good blueprint to work with for the fundraising event next year. Jennifer and Mary Kathryn have offered to remain on the committee, and it is hoped many of you who assisted will remain as well. One Woman Dynamo February 23, 2008 Ramada Plaza South Charleston, West Virginia West Virginia Rotary Districts 7550 and 7530 has scheduled a Rotary Leadership Institute at the Ramada Plaza, South Charleston, WV from 8:30 AM-3:30 PM. Please read the letter and make copies for distribution to your club members. The cost is $85 per attendee and we would be willing to pay for registration for 2 persons to attend. Please let Karen Price or Michael Keeney know if you would like to attend. Please check out the RLI 33 website registration information and a more in-depth review of the program. This just may be the program to ignite future membership growth and involvement of your local Rotary club. We want to thank WV House Majority Leader Joe DeLong for taking time to talk to our club about changes made in how the House operates. The leadership team is striving for a more open and inclusive environment to foster better and more thorough debate. The hope is that this will result in better public policy being legislated. Join us Wednesday morning as we welcome Dr. Russ Sobol who will talk about his book Unleashing Capitalism. To join the Charleston Vandalia Rotary Club please fill out the online membership application or forward it to a friend. Hope to see you Wednesday morning. |
