Rotary Minute
We want to thank Angela Vance for providing our Rotary Minute to talk about visiting other Rotary Club meetings when you're out of town. Not only will you be exposed to other Rotarians around the country, you can also count the visit as a make-up meeting.

Baby Month
July 11 th , 18 th , & 25 th is Baby Donation Month. You are not required to donate a baby but we would appreciate any donations for a newborn or infant. Just bring anything a baby would like or need. The baby won't mind if it's gently used and if it's new, even better. Diapers, pacifiers, baby wipes or any item a mother or father would use to keep baby groomed and looking cute. Clothing is always a welcome item as are blankets, bibs and baby towels.

Festivall Is Upon Us
A City Becomes a Work of Art is now in full swing and what a time people are having at various venues all over town. Truly, there is really something for everyone even the low hanging Weiner Dog. So check it out at www.festivallcharleston.com and for lots of fun and directions check out the Gazette WEBMAP: where you can click through the animated, musical map for FestivALL from June 20-24. Watch the crash! Find the cat? Feed that meter!

Paul Harris Fellow Program
Beni Kudva is making it an annual tradition to match the remaining amount new members have to become Paul Harris Fellows. This is the fourth year of his generous offer so if you have a remaining amount due to become a full-fledged Paul Harris Fellow, talk to John Jividen and he'll let you know how the match program works.

Princeton Golf Trip
The trip is on and so is the game for June 29 th in Princeton . Charleston Vandalia Rotary will pay for your entry fee if you'd like to sign up so if you're interested talk to John Jividen before or after the meeting.

Speaker Notes

What better way to celebrate West Virginia Day than with a talk by historian, Ken Bailey of the WV Archives and History Commission. On this day, celebrating 144 years of statehood, Ken chose to share the story of Judge James H. Ferguson who is the subject of Bailey's new book, 'Alleged Evil Genius of the Democratic Party'. We appreciate the talk but if you want to know what he shared, we encourage you to Buy the Book . It's on sale at Taylor 's Books and this is a perfect week to shop there.

Upcoming Speaker

Next week we will not have a speaker but instead will pass the gavel from Dave Yaussy to Karen Price. Join us.
