Fundraising Committee
Vandalia Rotary Club has set a fundraising goal of $50,000 per year. The Fundraising Committee is developing two yearly signature fundraising events, and they ask for your input by filling out two survey forms to provide them with direction.

The first survey will give committee members an idea of what you might be willing to do to help make a fundraising event a reality. Please fill it out here an when done click on the submit button of the survey.

The second survey will provide the committee with your preferences on the kinds of events you like to attend. Please fill it out here and when finished, click on the submit button at the bottom of the survey.

Gabriel Project
One of our newest signature projects supports low income pregnant women in Kanawha County through donations of baby items large and small. If you want to be more involved with this new signature project, contact Mary Katheryn Saville – integratedhealingservices@msn.com.

Take a Rotarian to Lunch Bunch
In another effort to take a Rotarian to lunch, Charleston Vandalia Club President, Karen Price made a date with one of our newest members, Kyle Tschepikow who works at the University of Charleston . The idea is to meet up with a member you don't know much about and get to know them better. Kyle learned the one thing about President Price that most of us already know – she is chronically late. Kyle waited for 20 minutes before Karen showed up for their lunch. Now he knows not to rush to meet Karen.

Speaker Notes

We thank Thomas Greenstreet, District 7550 Governor for our Rotary Clubs. District 7550 covers all of Southern West Virginia and has a membership of about 1,400 people in all. The Charleston Vandalia Rotary Club is part of the District as is the newly founded Summersville Rotary Club. Combined, the 7550 District Clubs are responsible for many community efforts like the ones we are involved in from Dictionaries to worldwide efforts like water projects and ShelterBox projects around the globe. We thank Governor Greenstreet for sharing his vision with us for the upcoming year and we hope he will return as our guest in the near future.
