Fore More – For Golf
The Charleston Vandalia Club has fielded its first golf team for the upcoming Annual District 7550 Rotary Conference at the Greenbrier. The foursome includes Bruce Eckerson, Nancy Tonkin, Laura Ellis and Karen Price. More players would be great showing for the club – not to mention a lot of fun. Put a team of four together and join us this year at the Greenbrier for the Annual District 7550 Rotary Conference and we'll all play through together. Speaker Notes

We want to thank Bill Porth who is a member of the Chesterton Johnson Society for talking to us about the value of intellectually stimulating clubs like this one. Founded at Oxford University by Samuel Johnson and others the group meets once a year. The membership is fairly exclusive but brings together diverse philosophies from almost every professional walk of life. Porth used the Chesterton Johnson Society to demonstrate how important membership in similar groups is to development of the soundest and most beneficial public policy.
