Holiday Meeting Schedule
Reminder:
There will be no morning meeting on December 19th. Instead, share this holiday season with us in the evening at the Governor's Mansion. Our annual Holiday Party begins from 5:30 - 7pm .

The cost is $15 and we need to know if you will attend so we have a head count.  Again, we will NOT meet on Wednesday December 19th in the morning.  Our evening event will count as a meeting. After the Holiday Party on December 19th at the Governor's Mansion, Vandalia Rotary will be on holiday until January 9th.

Reverse Raffle
During this very busy time of year remember that the Reverse Raffle is quickly approaching and that tickets can be reserved through Treasurer Michael Keeney. January 18th from 6-10pm, the Charleston Marriott will be the setting. No more than 250 tickets will be sold and each ticket will cost $100.

Therefore, it is very important that you reserve your tickets as soon as possible. Michael Keeney can invoice members for tickets but must have payment for any tickets that are sold to non-members (when ticket stubs are returned).   Send Michael an email at or call him at 304-638-0169 to reserve your own tickets and/or to obtain tickets to sell. Make sure that Michael confirms ticket availability with you. When reserving a ticket from Michael for the raffle please remember to turn the money for the ticket into Michael when you turn in your stub.

About Those Prizes for Raffle Night
Reminder: Don't forget to continue collecting prizes for the Reverse Raffle! When turning prizes in, be sure to include the completed donor forms. These forms are very important. It's time to collect prizes with completed donor forms and get them to Mary Kathryn Saville as soon as possible. Prizes are still needed and donor forms enable us to send out thank-you notes as well as tax deduction statements. Plus they will help make next year's work a lot easier.

Speaker Notes

Debbie Reynolds, the Executive Director of Adoptive Family Services Network was our guest speaker this week and we want to thank her for talking to us about the international opportunities to adopt children. Debbie is one of the growing numbers of Americans who chose a career path that followed her passion rather than her degrees. She is the adoptive mother of two beautiful children and is available to guide others through the adoption process.

Upcoming Speaker

Just checking to see if you're paying attention. There will be no speaker December 19 th because there will be no morning meeting. Instead, join you friends at the Governor's Mansion from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
