Welcome to the Charleston Vandalia Rotary Club.
The Charleston Vandalia Rotary Club meets as a breakfast meeting every Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall at Christ Church United Methodist on the corner of Quarrier and Morris Streets in downtown Charleston.
I take great pride in serving as the 2007-2008 President of our Rotary Club. Our mission and our ideals are the same as those held by Rotarians around the world. Rotary is an organization of business and professional people united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace in the world.
Our Rotary Club was chartered in 2002 with a group of community leaders who share the ideals embodied through Rotary International. Our members sought to expand Rotary in Charleston by offering an early bird meeting in our beautiful Capitol City. In our sixth year, we have grown to over seventy members who share the belief that “Service Above Self” is an ideal we can work together to achieve within our own community.
The Charleston Vandalia Rotary Club meets each Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church in Charleston on the corner of Morris and Quarrier Streets. We’d be honored to have you join us as a guest or a member. We think you’ll like what we offer in fellowship, food and meaningful community service.
