September 28th, Charleston Vandalia provided the food, fixings and a cook for Rae of Hope, who provides safe, affordable housing for women recovering from alcohol and drug addiction and teaches them life skills so they can have productive, balanced, healthy lives.

Goodwill of KV CEO and Vandalia Rotary member, Dan Owen, hosted our meeting this morning and provided a tour of the facility along with an overview of the many community services the organization provides. We're so fortunate to have such a valuable asset in our community and in WV.

Rotary Connector with South Charleston, Charleston and Vandalia clubs at the Holiday Inn West and Suites in South Charleston. Rotary Foundation awards were given to the Vandalia Rotary by District Governor Shari Messinger for being number one in per capita annual fund giving in the district. Money raised from the silent auction went toward polio eradication.

At Black Sheep Burrito - Thursday March 19th, 5-7 p.m. - 10% of food sales and $1 per pint of Noble Cause sales are donated to the Charleston Vandalia Rotary - Additionally add $1, $5 or $10 to your bill as a donation

Starting at the Appalachian Power Park on a rainy morning, the Vandalia Rotary supported the event by walking and through sponsorship

Mayor Goodwin will be giving an update on her office's current projects and will then open the floor for Q&A.

The Vandalia Rotary purchased 600 boxes of cookies from the Black Diamond Girl Scouts in Charleston and donated half to Charleston's Ronald McDonald House. The rest were packaged in individual serving baggies for Manna Meal.
